How can rebranding effectively convey a local green grocer's mission to reduce food waste through the promotion of sustainable consumption habits to eco-conscious individuals?
RIPE, a local green grocer brand, has a mission to fight food waste and promote sustainable consumption practices in local communities.
With a vision of a world where sustainability is the norm, it is committed to providing fresh, ethically sourced produce and educating its community about the positive impact of mindful consumption. Its goal is to educate and empower consumers to adopt new storage habits; protecting the planet and resources for future generations.
In line with the grocer's commitment to sustainability, sticker labels for produce were developed. These labels are not only visually appealing but also eco-friendly. Made from plastic-free materials, they can be easily washed off with water, eliminating unnecessary waste. Additionally, the labels serve as data visualisations, providing consumers with valuable information on the best way to store each item in the correct container and condition.
A booklet was created to explain the brand's vision and mission in detail. This booklet not only serves as an informative document but also doubles as a graphic poster. The design incorporates eye-catching visuals, compelling content, and clear instructions. To further enhance its utility, the booklet can be repurposed into a plant pot, contributing to the brand's commitment to sustainability. By scanning a QR code on the back, users can access instructions on how to repurpose the booklet into a plant pot, fostering a sense of environmental consciousness.
